  1. Love your podcast so much especially as I have just started knitting again after quite a break. Knitting makes me feel close to my grandmother who was such an influence on all aspects of my life. There are so many things baking the perfect Victoria Sandwich, perfect pastry and of course knitting and how to darn a sock even the proper way to make a bed so many things. One thing I could not learn was crochet I just could not get it. I felt I owed it to her to teach myself. Finally last year I got it at the age of 49 and I am nearing completion of my granny baby blanket for my twin nephews who were born February. Its taken some time but I have loved the process and it feels great that I can finally crochet and I like to think that I am passing something special on to my nephews as no one in my family can crochet. Listening to your podcast encourages me to make time for craft it is so lovely to hear stories about your grandma. Although my grandma is no longer here her enduring love for knitting and other skills she have taught me I treasure. So thank you for sharing. The craft along sounds like an excellent way to bring different crafts together in one place.
    Kind Regards
    Jacquetta
